Based on its corporate philosophy of “the best of nature and science,” Tsumura has adopted the goal of “contributing to the availability of medicines of unprecedented quality by combining Kampo and Western medicine.”
To achieve this objective, we will establish a strong presence in the field of medicine, making optimum use of our distinctive character as a Kampo manufacturer by focusing and concentrating more on Kampo and botanicals business.
In May 2009, we have adopted a new basic direction of becoming “a people-friendly company that contributes to society and humanity” through our Kampo and botanicals business.
We aim to establish a recycling-based business cycle, beginning with the cultivation of botanical raw materials, which are part of nature’s bounty. Consequently, we will continue to place emphasis in our management on coexisting with the natural environment and with local communities, while active recruitment of persons with disabilities, including provide a friendlier working environment. |
