PRODUCT INFORMATION

INDICATIONS

Following symptoms in persons with moderate and poor physical strenght who cannot clear up throat easily, and sometimes experience violent coughing or dryness of the throat: Dry cough, bronchitis, bronchial asthma, pharyngitis,and croak (hoarseness)

INGREDIENTS

Daily dosage 90 mL (30 ml×3 bottles) of this medicine contain 81 mL of Bakumondoto extract of the following mixed crude drugs;

JP Ophiopogon Tuber 10.0 g
JP Brown Rice 5.0 g
JP Pinellia Tuber 5.0 g
JP Jujube 3.0 g
JP Glycyrrhiza 2.0 g
JP Ginseng 2.0 g

Inactive ingredients: D-Sorbitol, Sucrose, Paraben, Flavor (containing Ethanol).

DOSAGE

Take the following dosages before or between meals*. Shake the bottle before taking this medicine.

Age One dosage Daily dosage
15 years and over 1 bottle 3 times a day
Less than 15 years Do not use

*:”Take a medicine between meals” means “take it between two separate meals”, e.g., breakfast and lunch. It does not mean “take a medicine during a meal”.
[Caution]
(1) Observe the dosage and usage strictly.
(2) This medicine essentially contains precipitates. Therefore take it after shaking the bottle well.

  1. Store in a cool, dry place free from direct sunlight.

  2. Keep all medication out of the reach of children.

  3. Do not transfer this medicine to a different container (It may be misused or the quality may deteriorate).

  4. Do not take this medicine after the expiration date.

  5. Take full bottle of this medicine after opening.

  6. Do not store this medicine with opening a bottle.

Who should seek consultation

  1. The following persons should consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered distributor before taking this medicine.

    1. Persons undergoing medical treatment from a physician.
    2. Pregnant women or women suspected of being pregnant.
    3. Persons expelling large amount of watery phlegm.
    4. Elderly persons.
    5. Persons with the following symptoms: edema.
    6. Persons diagnosed as having the following: hypertension, heart disease, kidney disease.
  2. The following symptoms may be adverse reactions to this medication. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine immediately and consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered distributor. Take the instruction leaflet with you.

    In very rare cases the following serious symptoms may occur. In this case, consult a physician immediately.

    Symptoms' name Symptoms
    Interstitial pneumonia When go upstairs or exert yourself too much, symptoms such as shortness of breath, breathing difficulties, dry cough, and fever will appear. They will appear suddenly and persist.
    Pseudohyperaldosteronism, myopathy In addition to listlessness, stretched feeling, and stiffness of hands and feet, feeling of weakness and muscular pain will appear and gradually worsen.
    Hepatic function failure Following symptoms appear: fever, itching, rash, jaundice (yellowing of skin and white of eyes), brown urine, whole-body tiredness, loss of appetite.
  3. Stop taking this medicine and consult a physician, pharmacist or registered distributor if symptoms do not improve after taking this medicine for about 1 month ( 1 week if you take this medicine for dry cough). Take this medicine (box) with you.

  4. If you take this medicine regularly for a long periods, consult a physician, pharmacist or registered distributor
