YUBARI TSUMURA has its own farm to cultivate medicinal plants and conducts research to develop cultivation technologies and increase cultivation efficiency. It also produces seedlings, procures raw materials for crude drugs from Hokkaido and Iwate Prefectures, processes the materials into crude drugs, conducts primary processing of the crude drugs and stores them. Taking advantage of its location and the local climate, the company serves as TSUMURA's Hokkaido & Iwate base for the production, procurement, preparation, processing and storage of crude drugs.

It procures crude drugs from SHENZHEN TSUMURA and processes the drugs into powdered extracts for export to TSUMURA's manufacturing facilities in Japan. It is thus playing an important role for the stable supply of TSUMURA's products.
