Tsumura & Co. (Head Office: Tokyo; President: Junichi Yoshii) announces that the executives and regular employees of its Chinese business partners and group companies in the list below made monetary donation offers at 960,884 RMB (nearly 12.01 mil. JPY) as supports for relief activities to the afflicted people of the off-Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake. The relief money is donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society through its contact-points in China.
The company has built amicable relationships with many Chinese companies since 1980s through the procurement of Kampo crude drugs. The company made monetary donation by its executives and regular employees to the Chinese Red Cross Society for the relief of the Sichuan earthquake occurred on May 2008.
This time, the donation from China is the True Result from the long term relationships with Chinese partner-companies with mutual support under disaster across borders. The company declares that the spirit of mutual trust and mutual assistance will be firmly built much further.
