Respect for Human Rights

The Tsumura Human Rights Policy provides a set of policies to be followed regarding human rights, principally in accordance with the International Bill of Human Rights, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the Ethical Principles for Medical Research Involving Human Subjects (The Declaration of Helsinki). The Tsumura Procurement Policy stipulates a set of policies to be followed related to the procurement of raw materials and others based on our Corporate Value and Sustainability Vision.

Kampo value chain

Tsumura delivers Kampo products to medical institutions and patients through a range of processes (Kampo value chain) that cover cultivation and procurement of crude drugs used as raw materials for Kampo formulations, manufacturing and sales of extract formulations, education and promotion of Kampo, and R&D and quality management for Kampo production.
